Deciding to go on a raw diet does not mean that you have to give up on great taste. There are many raw diet breakfast meals that taste good. These are dishes that you will look forward to eating. They are a good way to start your day.
The first dish is made in the blender. Peel and cut up two or three apples, cut two bananas into bite small pieces put them into the blender. Add a handful or raisins, 2 tablespoons of golden flax seed, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon and 1/2 cup of water to the blender. Blend well so all ingredients are incorporated. If it is too thick for you, add a bit more water. This makes two servings and takes just a few minutes to prepare. If you have a juicer, replace the water with juice from your favorite fruits. Experiment and find the combination that you like best.
Breakfast can be a good for you drink that will give you tons of energy and make you feel better. Juice carrots with a bit of lemon juice mixed in. Super fast and easy for a busy morning and you will feel wonderful after you drink this.
Smoothies are a popular breakfast with those who are eating raw. Again this is something that is easy. You can throw everything in the blender for a minute or so and breakfast is done. Strawberries, banana and some juice from an orange will give you a delicious flavor combination. To help get some good for you greens into your child’s diet, add some to this type of smoothie. They will taste the fruit that they love and have no problem with the greens.
Finally, trail mix can be made if you dehydrate some of your favorite fruits. Combine the fruits such as apple, pineapple and cranberries with almonds, walnuts, hemp seed, chopped dates, raisins and some cinnamon. Delicious and can be eaten on the run.
