Fried Chicken in the Oven

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 45 minutes
Total Time: 50 minutes

Ingredients:

3 pounds chicken
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt or season salt
1 teaspoon black or white pepper
¼ cup margarine
¼ cup flour

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 425°.

Wash chicken in cold water. Use paper towels to dry chicken. Add onion powder, garlic powder, salt or season salt, black or white pepper to flour in a large zip lock bag or bowl.

Place chicken in zip lock bag and shake or in bowl to coat chicken with flour mix.

Melt the margarine in a baking pan in the oven. Place chicken with the skin side down into the pan in single layers.

Bake chicken for 30 minutes on 425°. Turn the chicken over and continue baking 15 additional minutes, or until desired tenderness is reached. Friend Chicken in the Oven recipe serves 3-4 people.

Ingredients

1 lb lasagna pasta cooked
1 lb ground turkey
46 oz tomato sauce
16 oz ricotta cheese (part skim)
12 oz low fat shredded mozzarella cheese
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
¾ cup onions chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon olive oil
2 egg substitutes

Directions:

Add garlic powder, chopped onions, and olive oil to ground turkey. Cook in a non stick pan on top of stove to taste. Add tomato sauce and cook for 15 minutes.

In a mixing bowl, add egg substitute, parmesan, and mozzarella and ricotta cheese and mix well.

Using a 9 x 13 baking pan, place a 2 cup layer of sauce, ½ of noodles, left over sauce and all noodles. Spray aluminum foil with cooking spray and cover the dish. Bake in the oven for 45 minute at 350 F.

Remove aluminum foil, place remaining mozzarella cheese on top. Bake for 15 more minutes. Add sprinkles of parmesan cheese atop, allow dish to cool for 15 minutes.

tunaTuna surprise casserole

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

1 (9oz) can tuna-drained
1 (7.25 oz) box macaroni and cheese
1 (10 oz) can sweet peas-drained
1 (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup

Directions:

Cook macaroni and cheese as instructed on package. Add cream of mushroom soup, tuna, and peas. Stir and heat to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Allow dish to cool before serving.

Easy Cheesecake you don’t bake

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients:

1 low fat graham cracker crust
12 oz cool whip
1/3 cup sugar substitute
1 block reduced fat cream cheese
2 cups fruit to taste

Directions:

Mix sugar substitute and cream cheese with a mixer.
Beat Cool whip
Empty cheesecake mix onto graham cracker crust
Refrigerate for 30 minutes
Top with fruit and serve
